Workshop Unit
San Giorgio Seigen's facilities extend over an area of 38.000 square meters, 21.000 of which are covered. Strategically located just 4 km from the Port of Genoa, one of the largest Mediterranean seaports, they also guarantee easy and quick access to the Italian highway network.
Equipment and Capabilities
Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment, such as a vast number of high-capacity cranes, several last-generation submerged arc welders, table and rolling positioners, fully automated and specialized welding stations the workshop ensures high efficiency and quality over all the production steps.
Quality Assurance
San Giorgio Seigen is certified according to EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 3834-2 and also obtained the certificates of authorization to mark its equipment according to ASME U and U2 Stamp. San Giorgio Seigen designs and produces in accordance with the following standards: EN, ASME, TEMA, HEI, P.E.D.
Quality Control
San Giorgio Seigen has an internal Level 3 N.D.T. inspector, who coordinates a qualified internal team of Level 2 operators, certified according to UNI EN ISO 9712 / SNT TC-1A, for Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic particle Testing (MT), liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Testing (VT).

Since 1949, when the business was established,
the Company has undergone several phases of transformation and reorganization, to keep pace with the continuous growth and expansion of its activity.
One of the latest developments of the Company has been the creation of a division specialized in the design and construction of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
Thanks to its engineering capabilities and manufacturing know-how, supported by the most up-to-date calculation and design software according to EN 13445 and ASME VIII Div.1 and Div.2, San Giorgio Seigen is internationally recognized as a leading player in the design and construction of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other components for the Power-Generation and petrochemical industries.

San Giorgio Seigen is a leading player in the steelwork industry. Its core products consist in medium and large-sized equipment and components for the power generation, shipbuilding, steel and petrochemical industries, and on industries that require high-quality products of considerable sizes and weights.
San Giorgio Seigen boasts a vast experience in heat exchangers design and manufacturing. Starting from the main project data, San Giorgio develops its own thermal and mechanical design: the equipment can then be highly customized according to the Customer's requirements, always in compliance with the applicable standards.

We are equipped with 22 bridge cranes, featuring various load capacities and lift heights ranging between 9 and 23 m, allowing the completion of significant pre-assembly activities and lifting single items weighing up to 180 t.
